The City of Bunbury is inviting expressions of interest from Aboriginal applicants, in accordance with Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), for casual or fixed-term opportunities at the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre.

The Wardandi Wanil Art Centre is a new cultural space celebrating creativity, storytelling, and connection to Country. We are seeking people who enjoy working with the public and are keen to be part of a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Available roles will primarily support front-of-house, gallery, and studio operations, with a strong focus on customer service and creating a positive experience for visitors, artists, and community members.

About the Talent Pool

This Expression of Interest will form a talent pool for upcoming employment opportunities at the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre. If a suitable role becomes available that matches your availability and skills, you may be contacted to discuss further.

How to Apply

Skills and Experience

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or front-of-house roles (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A willingness to learn and follow procedures
  • Respect for cultural diversity and an interest in arts and culture
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends

No prior gallery or arts experience is required—training will be provided.
