The City of Bunbury is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Parks and Reserves to join our team and help maintain our beautiful parks and public spaces.

About the role

As a Trainee, you'll assist with daily parks and reserves tasks while working towards a Certificate III in Horticulture over a 12-month period. You'll gain hands-on experience in areas such as turf management, irrigation, playground maintenance, and arboriculture, all while learning the safe operation of plant and equipment.

What we are looking for

Someone who:

  • Enjoys working outdoors and contributing to the environment.
  • A motivated individual, with a willingness to learn.
  • Able to work as a team and follow safety procedures.
  • A problem solver who can adapt to a range of tasks.
  • Is keen to complete a Certificate III in Horticulture and start a career in the parks and reserves field.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 1 salary ranging from between $46,515.04 and $62,382.32 per annum.
