Traineeship: Information Management

About the role
The Information Management Trainee will provide vital administrative support to the Information Management team to enable accurate and efficient document handling. In this position, you'll assist with registering and distributing incoming hardcopy and electronic documents, while learning to use information management systems. As a trainee in Information Services, you will learn about the maintenance and disposal of records, in line with established guidelines. You will also gain valuable experience in the digitisation of records to aid in the preservation and analysis of documents.
Throughout the 12-month traineeship, you'll work towards completing a Certificate III in Business, build practical, hands-on experience and valuable skills whilst working in a supportive environment.
About you
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- A keen interest in administration and is detail oriented.
- Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently or within a team.
- A willingness to grow, develop and learn new skills.
- A problem-solving mindset and who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Sound keyboard, data entry and word processing skills.

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 1 salary ranging from between $46,515.04 and $62,382.32 per annum.
