Are you passionate about libraries, literacy, and community connection? The City of Bunbury Libraries are seeking expressions of interest from motivated individuals who would like to be considered for future casual, max-term, or permanent employment opportunities.

Roles may become available in areas such as:

  • Library Customer Service
  • Programs and Events Support
  • Digital Literacy Assistance
  • General Library Operations

Our Expression of Interest Pool is designed to identify people with a strong interest in library work and community service. When positions arise that match your experience and availability, we may contact you to discuss opportunities further.

Expressions of interest remain valid until the 31st of December, 2025, and your application will be securely stored during this time. You may withdraw your application at any stage by contacting records@bunbury.wa.gov.au.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A passion for providing welcoming, inclusive service to all community members
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology and digital resources
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts and service areas
  • An interest in literacy, learning, or community programming

Previous library or customer service experience is helpful but not essential—we value enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

What We Offer

Library roles are covered under the City of Bunbury Employees 2024 Enterprise Agreement, with pay levels based on role type, experience, and qualifications.
