We're thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a motivated Property & Lands Officer to join our Economic Growth team. This role is ideal for someone eager to make an impact and grow within a supportive and dynamic team.

Role Overview:

As a Property & Lands Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing leases, licenses, and land transactions across the City, including freehold and Crown land. Working closely with the Senior Property & Lands Officer, you will oversee a variety of key tasks, including:

  • Responding to inquiries and managing Right of Ways (ROWs), lane/road closures, and land transactions.
  • Coordinating acquisitions, disposals, amalgamations, subdivisions, and land assemblies.
  • Collaborating with both public stakeholders and City Officers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Your proactive approach and innovative thinking will be essential as you navigate complex land-related matters, and your communication skills will be key to building strong relationships both internally and externally.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Certificate IV in Business, Business Administration, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and local government operations.
  • Experience or knowledge in leases, licenses, subdivisions, caveats, acquisitions, disposals, easements, and land-related matters.
  • A strong grasp of contemporary office administration systems, practices, and procedures.

No formal qualifications? No problem!

We value experience, so if you have relevant skills and knowledge, we'd still love to hear from you. Your salary will be determined based on your level of experience.
